The Co-Authorship Graph displays the co-author network of a HKUST researcher. Co-authors are grouped by numbered nodes along the inner cycle and the number indicates how many publications they collaborated with this researcher. Co-author names are displayed as colored nodes along the outer cycle. Red nodes are HKUST faculty members, green nodes are other HKUST members, and blue nodes are researchers not belonging to the first two types.
You can hover the mouse over a numbered node to view the number of co-authors in this group and click on the node to collapse/expand it. You can also hover the mouse over a red/green/blue node to view the publication pattern of this co-author with the researcher. Clicking on the red node will display this co-author's co-authorship graph and clicking on the photo will display the researcher's profile.
Co-author names can be viewed in the Co-author List. You can click on the dropdown list button to display the list. Two sorting options are available: by name of the co-authors and by number of publications they co-authored with the researcher. Clicking on the names with red-circle will display this co-author's co-authorship graph.
Publication Timeline shows how many publications this researcher has in these years. You can resize and move the slider to limit publications by a range of years. This will refresh the graph and the co-author list based on what year range you have selected.
